This workshop features a film screening of Pamela Yates’ 2024 documentary Borderland: The Line Within. Following the research pursued by a trio of digital humanists in the context of increasingly aggressive immigration enforcement strategies in the U.S., the film highlights that ‘the border’ is everywhere. Against this backdrop, it tells the stories of immigrant heroines and heroes that forge a way forward, intent on building a movement and reclaiming their human rights.
